India and the US are on the cusp of a revolution in the delivery of food and beverages, with the US leading the pack and India leading the rest of the world in terms of delivery.
Food delivery is booming in India, and food delivery service providers are also looking to the US for a new growth opportunity.
According to a recent report by Food and Brand Lab, a food delivery startup that is looking to establish in the country, more than half of India’s food delivery firms have at least one location in the United States, a large percentage of them in the Northeast and Midwest.
In fact, Food and Brands Lab said, nearly 70% of the Indian food delivery startups that were surveyed by the study said they have an office in the U.S. In India, this number is about 75%.
Food delivery services are growing at a fast pace in India.
According to the Food and Beverage Retailers Association of India (FBRI), there are more than 3,500 food delivery services in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
In the past year, more then 3,000 food delivery companies have started up in the region.
Food and Beverages India, the Indian version of Food Network, is one of the biggest food delivery platforms in the world.
According the FBRI, FBRi has about 10,000 restaurants in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra and Telangana.
The company said that its growth has been accelerated by the advent of Uber and its app.

They also say that many of the startups are also focusing on the logistics of their deliveries.
According a survey by Food Delivery Network, a service that provides food delivery and grocery delivery services, the number of restaurants in India has grown by almost 100% since 2014.
This growth was largely driven by the popularity of Uber, which has enabled the startups to take advantage of the increased availability of food.
The food delivery market is expected to be worth around $30 billion in the coming years, according to the report.
The report also revealed that more than 50% of Indian consumers are looking for fast, convenient and affordable delivery services.
